OK, first of all, don’t freak out, it’s Q4 for the programming at MDSoF but we got started late in 2012, so Thanksgiving is still months away. We are going to do a bridge cycle later this year, so our programming cycles will more closely match the yearly seasons. That bridge cycle will start in early November which means there will be a metric s@#t ton (thanks Jason, I’m starting to like that phrase even though I don’t really know what it means) of squat and abs to get you ready for ski season.

A quick note about the strength lifts, for the next 12 weeks we are back to “sets across.” The last cycle we tried to set a 5 or 3 or 1 rep max. This cycle when you get to the work sets, you’ll get to a weight and then just stay with that weight rather than continue to increase.
