Whole 9 Seminar – March 5 2

We are insanely pleased to announce that we are hosting a Whole9 Foundations of Nutrition Workshop right here at Mad Dawg School of Fitness on Saturday, March 5 as part of our five year anniversary celebration.

You may be asking yourselves, “insanely pleased… really… that’s pretty dang pleased…” Yes, we are really that pleased because this seminar addresses one of the hardest parts of changing nutrition habits. While most of our athletes are willing to change to a more Paleo/Whole, natural, unprocessed-foods-based diet, we have found that actually making that happen on a daily basis, i.e. the implementation details, is pretty challenging for most of us at first.

In the Foundations of Nutrition Workshop, you’ll learn:

  • The good, bad and ugly side of how your food choices affect
    your metabolism, health and longevity.
  • How certain food groups are negatively impacting how you look,
feel and perform, even if you don’t immediately notice their effects.
  • What you should be eating to look, feel and perform your best – and why you don’t really need to weigh and measure all your food to achieve excellent results.
  • A fool-proof meal planning template to help you manage meals, snacks and pre- and post-workout nutrition (including recommendations, examples and recipes).
  • Discussion of common errors – ways to get it wrong when you’re doing everything right.
  • The best way to incorporate “cheats” into your diet, enjoying
the foods you really want without compromising your overall health
    and fitness goals.
  • And most importantly… how to break unhealthy patterns, habits
and cravings related to food, and change the way you eat for the
rest of your life in a healthy, balanced, satisfying and sustainable manner.

Pricing:
$90 for the first 30 participants
$100 for the Eager Beavers (all who sign up before Friday, Feb. 18)
$115 for the Procrastinators (all who sign up after Friday, Feb. 18)

There will be no day-of-event registrations!

Still not convinced? Check out the Whole 9 website to see how knowledgeable they are about making nutrition happen for you. In the coming months, we will be highlighting some of their juiciest content.

The seminar will be limited to 70 people so that everyone gets a little personal attention and we are going to do everything we can to sell out by Feb 15, so purchase your tickets early!

If you can help promote this seminar for us, we would be forever grateful. Print out this flyer and post where you can. A few notes about the flyer: You may have to scale it to fit on one page, sometimes Melissa’s bio doesn’t get printed. Also the flyer says that there is a $15 discount for early birds; however; if you want to write in the additional discount for first 30 attendees that is OK.

Yes, we are going to have a little anniversary party after the nutrition seminar, so while we would love everyone to attend the seminar, we understand if you can’t. However, there are no excuses to not attend the party afterwords. Not even, knee deep powder, Samantha! OK, maybe waist deep… on Kris Z, but not an inch less.
