MDTV – Episode 6 – Roll Out in 6 Minutes 2

MDTV5 – Roll Out in 6 minutes from saul jimenez.

We are adding a more complete roll out at the beginning of our workouts. While there is more to do, it shouldn’t take you more than 6 minutes to get a thorough roll out. Focus on your preparation and it will be easier to hit the positions necessary for proper technique. In this video, we show how it’s done.

What exactly does rolling out accomplish that helps us get a little more mobile? It helps us break up “The Fuzz.” Check out what KStarr has to say about The Fuzz.

Fuzz is 0 on the Awesome-to-Skanky scale. Roll out. It only takes 6 minutes. Really, I timed it.

Post your times and/or 10s on the Awesome-to-Skanky scale.

Thanks for this, Saul! I know that, for me, I have a lot of trouble completing the warmup quickly. Even when I show up 10 minutes early I am usually only barely ready to start the technique on time. Dunno if it’s just because everything is longer on me or what, but I am working on it. Rolling is usually pretty slow; this video should help me pace that.

Hey, Kris – I’m slow to warm up, too. I find I just need extra time to get everything moving. I thought it was because I am old. It makes me feel better that ‘longer’ people need more time to warm up, too. 😉
