Warm-up:
2 rounds of:
400 M Run
10 each of the following:
Pull-ups, dips, sit-ups, good mornings, overhead squats with dowel, Samson lunges
Skill/Specific Warm-Up: N/A
500 M row
2 x 5 x KB Swings
2 x 5 x Overhead squats with bar
2 x 5 x Wall ball
WOD: 2 Rounds of Shopper Overboard!
200 M shopping cart push
Overhead squats with bar
Row
Wall Ball
KB Swing
Sit-ups
There were a number of different variations on this but the basics are as follows: While a person pushes the shopping cart, with weight in it, all the other athletes are trying to get as many reps as possible with the other exercises. After the athlete finishes with the shopping cart, all athletes rotate until everyone does all the exercises.
Saul, let us know if you have a few more—Debbie and I might be in for a Jan. 1 class! Bummed I missed “Hoover Ball”—sounds like a fun time.
