Squat Therapy


Monday is our fundamentals day. People who are new to CrossFit or would like to polish up their skills should plan on attending these classes.

The focus this week was on improving our squats. After the warm-up, we did several drills that help work on the various parts of the squat. We finished with bottom-to-bottom Tabata. The Tabata Protocol specifies 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. Bottom-to-bottom Tabata means that you start in the bottom position of the squat and, after 20 seconds of squats, “rest” in the bottom position of the squat for 10 seconds. Do 20 seconds “on” and 10 seconds “off” for 8 rounds.
