Saturday Workouts


This Saturday’s 9:00 am workout will be at Sequoia High School.

You may have noticed that there is a new Saturday workout at 10:30 AM. This workout is meant for people who want to improve their athletic performance in a sport outside of CrossFit and is aimed at people who have been doing CrossFit for a while and are familiar enough with the lifts and the workouts to be self-sufficient during the workout. The workouts will emphasize Weightlifting (i.e. Clean and Jerk) and the slow lifts (i.e. squats, dead lift and pressing). The workouts will be very similar to the workouts on Performance Menu. In addition, in February, we will start incorporating some of the workouts from CrossFit Endurance. The cost of these workouts is that you have to do one Weightlifting and one other competition/event a year. The competition can be a traditional run or bike event or it can be an planned adventure like hiking up Mt. Tallac or running from Sugar Bowl to Squaw Valley.
