Coached Group Strength & Conditioning Classes

Note: The prerequisite for all group classes is a complimentary ‘Get Started’ session

Strength and Conditioning (S&C) – All workouts are scaled/ progressed / regressed to each athlete’s level of ability, and are performed at the highest intensity that the individual can sustain with proper technique.  Pre-requisites: ‘Get Started’ session and completion of Fundamentals Personal Training.

L.I.F.T. Low Intensity / Low Impact Functional Training – Focus on mobility, position, and movement. Movements include most of the same movements in our Strength and Conditioning program, but with an emphasis on the fundamentals of hinge, squat, press, as well as many bodyweight and core-strengthening exercises.  Pre-requisites: ‘Get Started’ session and completion of Fundamentals Personal Training or Personal Training.

Olympic Lifting – Work on the skills that develop a solid Clean, Jerk, and Snatch. Athlete’s FMS score and skill level determine what movement s will be performed at the coach’s discretion.  Pre-requisites: Completion of a ‘Get Started’ session and at least 3 months of training in basic barbell technique.

Body-weight Movement Skills – Bodyweight movements include push-ups, pull=ups, dips, muscle-ups, handstands, and more! Practice skill progressions, then do a work out that will allow you to practice what you’ve learned. This class helps athletes with overall body awareness and coordination, which will directly apply to many of the lifts and workouts.  Pre-requisites: ‘Get Started’ session and completion of Fundamentals Personal Training.

Mobility and Stretching (Stability and Mobility) – Find the positions and exercises that help you recover and improve your strength. if you haven’t been progressing in your lifts or workouts in general, maybe you can’t get into the positions required by these movements. Build this class into your schedule on a rest / recovery day to prepare for the rest of your training. Pre-requisites: ‘Get Started’ session and current member.

Special Skills Development – Kettlebells, Barbells, Clubs, Sandbags, Sledges, Rowing, Running, Crawling and Original Strength.
