The California Firefighter Olympics now include Crossfit as one of the official events. This years competition will be held at Crossfit San Jose on Wednesday, July 18th and Thursday, July 19th. The individual competition being on the 18th and a team competition on the 19th. You must be a Firefighter to participate, however, they are looking for support with volunteers and anyone else who just wants to come and hang out for the day. They are looking for judges and could use some extra hands for logistics.
