New Site
As you can see, we have a new website. There were some major issues with importing and I am having to go through all the old posts by hand. All of 2009 has been published with comments.
If you have any issues with the new site, please send an email.

I like the way the new site looks, but I don’t think a ripped up hand should be one of the banner pictures. Personally I hope to be doing CrossFit for a long time, without having my hand ever look like that.
I am going to change a few of the pictures. Adrian picked these out, when you meet him you will understand why he picked that one.
Love the new look. Bravo. And yeah – show some ripped abs instead…ie. not mine!!!
Yeah, I like that idea, thanks!
Am I seeing things, or does that “paleo” burger have cheese on it?
Mmm…
Wow… looks great Saul…
Yes, there is cheese on it. Technically not Paleo but a little cheese periodically is OK for me (and maybe you too). For the LB(A)NC, you just have to write your meal down.
Why is cheese not on the Paleo Diet?
By replacing hard cheeses, cereal grains, and processed foods with plenty of green vegetables and fruits, the body comes back into acid/base balance which brings us also back into calcium balance. The goal is to avoid a net acid load on your kidneys.

So I generally view butter and heavy cream as excellent and cheese and milk as less so. Most who have difficulty with dairy are just sensitive to the lactose, but there can be immune system issues with casein found in milk and cheeses. I believe casein serving as a molecular mimic to self antigens, and therefore causing autoimmune diseases, mainly occurs in the context of an already leaky gut. So if you do not have Wheat Germ Agglutinin and other grain lectins in your diet, the casein is not likely to leak into your blood stream. Multiple sclerosis may be linked to both gluten grain consumption and milk casein in this way. That is why I believe eliminating gluten grains minimizes the threat of dairy for most people. I believe getting to step 3 makes the milk prescription in step 2 safer in this way.

Very nice job on the site! I am looking for the recipes .. of those incredible meals …
when is the class schedule coming back up? and i love the new look btw.
Schedule is coming up soon.
In Adrian’s defense, I picked the picture.
Much to our chagrin, ripped up hand calluses are a reality (especially with ungodly pull up WODs). I’m nursing a big one right now!
